Comprehend, Inc. offers an array of programs for expectant mothers ranging from prevention to treatment. All services are confidential and provided in a welcoming environment by caring staff.
  • Give Your Baby a Healthy Start: The Regional Prevention Center of Comprehend, Inc. works with regional health departments and prenatal care providers to offer free educational baby showers. The program is held several times throughout the year and all pregnant women are invited to attend to learn more about a variety of pregnancy-related topics including nutrition, bonding and attachment, child safety and development, breastfeeding, and harmful things to avoid while pregnant. Participants receive goody bags and resource folders in addition to a light meal and door prizes!  Fathers-to-be are welcomed and encouraged to attend along with other involved family members.  For more information, call Jennifer Gordley at 606-759-7799.
  • Case Management: Case management services specifically designed for pregnant women are offered in all five counties.  Our case manager can assist expectant mothers with transportation, housing and other basic needs while providing on-going support for a healthy, substance-free pregnancy. There are Incentives available for clients who meet case management goals.  For more information call Patti Milligan at 606-564-4016.
Comprehend also has other services available for expectant mothers.
